The Washington branch of the global chain is replete with celluloid memorabilia -- Luke Perry’s yearbook, Star Trek memorabilia, the futuristic skateboard from the Back to the Future movies -- similar to how the nearby Hard Rock Café is teeming with rock ‘n’ roll memorabilia, a scheme by both organizations to draw timid tourists in to the restaurant who will part with large clumps of money in exchange for a glance at a cutout of Sylvester Stallone and a taste of less-than-average food. But who knows---maybe you like the $12 hamburgers here, and would rather not sample the distinct cuisine served in a local restaurant.
